Anna Kinberg Batra appointed Senior Executive Advisor to

Sweden-India Business Council

We are happy to announce its appointment of Ms Anna Kinberg Batra as Senior Executive Advisor.

Ms Kinberg Batra is former leader of the Swedish Moderate Party, former chair of the Finance and EU committees in the Swedish Parliament and now serves as advisor in politics, leadership and change management, as well as being a Leader in Residence at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Outside of her extensive and international political experience, Ms Kinberg Batra is a graduate of Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) with a professional business background as Vice President of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and with several start-up companies. Among those, she was co-founder of top-talent network Nova100 and part of the founding team of Jobline/Monster Sweden. She also worked with SSE Business Lab at the start of the unicorn Klarna. Ms Kinberg Batra is married to David, of Indian origin, and has published the book ”Indien – från stackare till stormakt” (India – from poor to prosperous) in 2005.

Between 6-10 October, Ms Kinberg Batra will lead the SIBC delegation of Swedish tech entrepreneurs companies and investors to India.

– With the Prime Minister of India’s “Digital India” initiative combined with India’s start-up culture, a new era has begun which is generating huge opportunities for Swedish and Indian companies.
