Ola Rignell

From 1^st of July 2022 Ola is running his own consultancy company Rigs AB, and currently supports FAM AB as a Senior Advisor.

Ola Rignell joined Saab India Technologies Pvt. Ltd in August 2018 as Chairman & Managing Director, arriving from Malaysia where he was the country head from May 2017 to August 2018. He continued to work for Saab in India until April 2022 when he returned to Sweden and retired from Saab end of June 2022.

During his time in India Ola was on the board of FFV Services Pvt Ltd, Phaeros IT India Pvt Ltd, Barracuda Camouflage Private Limited and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce India.

Before joining Saab in 1995 as a test pilot, he spent eleven years working for the Swedish Air Force as an operational fighter pilot.

During 1999-2004 he was the Chief Test Pilot for military aircrafts at Saab, and 2004 Ola was appointed as Director for Flight Test and Verification at Aeronautics, Saab AB which he upheld until March 2013

During the period April 2013 to October 2016 Ola Rignell was the Accountable manager (AM) for all civil flight operations within Saab including Flight test, Private Operations, Aerial work and Commercial operations according to the Air Operator Certificate (AOC).

He then held the position as Director of Business Development, Aviation Training, at Support & Services from October 2016 to April 2017 before moving abroad.
