“The roundtable meetings with SIBC is always very interesting and useful. Just to meet people who are in the same process as we are in and to discuss all different subjects and topics is great. This topped with people from SIBC with great experience pays back the effort to join the meeting.” Andreas Orre, HangOn AB.

Modi led government has pushed growth objectives by opening up the market to international actors, while simultaneously working with ‘Make-in-India’ targets. As such, challenges for Swedish companies do exist when it comes to make the right decisions for setting up a production unit in India.

Setting up a production unit in India is a strategic decision where lots of factors are taken into consideration such as financing, land, infrastructure, logistics and rules and regulations among other factors. In SIBC’s roundtables we tackle these issues using Executives having the concrete experience themselves, and in a roundtable interacting format adding experiences and advise from members and companies with their own experiences.
