Corporate Legal Counsel with the Ericsson Group, 1984-1999, of which 1989-1990 (9 months) at Ericsson U.S, as CLO and 1992-1999 as Vice President and Head of Ericsson Legal Services responsible for the legal support to the global business areas Mobile Systems, Mobile Phones, Defence and Components.

Head of IT, Telecom and E-commerce at KPMG Legal 2000-2001.

Partner at Bird & Bird between 2001 and 2014 as Head of the Telecom Group in the Stockholm Office and member of the firm´s International Telecom Group and its Indian Interest Group.

Founded the new law firm Synch (www.synchlaw.se) in 2014.

Member of the Board of Sweden-India Business Council since 2007. Johan has been involved in providing legal advice to Swedish companies doing business in India since the early 90´s. He has been a frequent speaker regarding legal issues in connection with doing business in India.
