Varda Taneja

Varda Taneja is an independent advisor for companies looking to establish and localise in India. She has a decade long experience in market – entry and business expansion strategy. She was previously Vice President, Invest India, leading investment promotion in the Europe region and supporting them on business advisory for India. Varda has led multiple public–private engagements at global platforms and represented India at numerous international platforms including the World Economic Forum, Davos. Additionally, she has also worked in close capacity with senior officials from Federal Ministries and State Governments on policy and regulations. 

Her passion and efforts have won her the recognition of BusinessWorld Disrupt 30 under 30 and EuropeIndia40 leaders.

Varda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, India and a M.Sc. Management & Strategy from the London School of Economics, UK. She is extremely passionate about driving impact and is also trained in Hindustani vocal classical music.
