SITEC | Sweden-India Tech Community | We believe that seeing is believing and that the next wave of companies will be the tech startups. Most tech startups are aware that the US has a large market, one currency, a common language and an established eco-system. So has India.The main difference and challenge are competition, pricing and a need for scale.
We created the Sweden-India Tech Community in order to facilitate closer relationships between the Swedish and Indian Startup-eco systems, which includes startups, corporate and academic incubators, government and corporate acceleration programs, financing, scale-up entrepreneurs and investors. By doing this we work with a large number of stake holders, including the ISBLRT members who all have Startups and Innovation as a common interest.

Note on Delegations | Delegations are from Sweden to India and vise versa. In 2019 five delegations were organized. In 2020 a 'SITEC Meet' took place at No18 in Stockholm, and during the pandemic 3 meetings also happened online. Next delegation planned for is in October 2021 - from Sweden to India during TechSparks by YourStory in Bangalore. The delegates will visit Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi – with a stop over for World Expo in Dubai. One can still apply to join!
