C-Green is a Swedish company and a technology leader in sustainable sludge management, providing end-of-pipe solutions for the treatment of wet organic waste. Founded in 2015, C-Green has developed and commercialized hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) technology to enable safe, efficient and circular treatment of wet organic waste streams.
C-Green’s process is modular and can easily be scaled putting reactors in series and in parallel, creating attractive economies of scale and achieving a robust installation allowing for maintenance and service during operations. C-Green’s HTC process is designed for robust operation and variable sludge qualities, converting sewage sludge into a hygienic biocarbon with attractive lower heating value (LHV), enabling circular resource recovery and use as a renewable fuel with low environmental impact.
