Lars-Olof Lindgren

Lars-Olof Lindgren is Special Advisor to the President and CEO of Saab. Based in India, he advises the Saab global management on business and governmental affairs. Lars-Olof Lindgren has a long experience of India and an extensive network across the country.He was the Ambassador of Sweden to India between 2007 and 2012 and he headed Saab’s Market Area India between 2013 and 2015 until it was merged with Market Area Asia Pacific.

Prior to his tenure at the Embassy of Sweden, New Delhi, Lars-Olof Lindgren was State Secretary to the Prime Minister of Sweden, dealing with International Affairs and the European Union. Before this, he was State Secretary for Trade in the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Lars-Olof Lindgren has a long diplomatic career, including being Director General of Trade, Deputy Head of Mission at the Swedish Embassy in Beijing and Deputy Permanent Representative of Sweden to the European Union. He is a graduate of the Stockholm School of Economics.
